In my desire to get fit & healthy (and get my weight down into the "acceptable" range for my height according to the military), my physical therapist friend recommended P90X as the type of program that would challenge me and that I wouldn't get bored with. After a start that got interrupted due to my grandfather's death, I started up again on June 4. I'm proud to say I'm on day 17 of 90 and only missed one day due to being under the weather. Two and half weeks may not seem like much, but that much constant exercise is probably something I haven't done since playing varsity sports in high school. I'm also on week 2 of Couch to 5K, which is my cardio supplement to the P90X program, because I know my body needs as much cardio as it can handle.
I'm looking forward to the thirty day mark.
