Plant Based Foods and a 5k Race tomorrow

I've been rapidly losing weight and I think it's mostly because I've cut dairy, bread/pasta and sugar from my diet. I eat plant based foods. Lots of veggies and fruits. I drink as much juice as possible. I love my juicer! I'm so happy I bought it, it was such a smart investment. Although, I've been doing good on my diet I haven't exercised as much as I could. I run and I like to ride my bike (I went for 19 mile ride last Sunday to clear my head) but I can and should do better!
My personal life is complicated at the moment. I was seeing someone, I was happy but he broke my heart so... alone again. Thankfully, I don't turn to food for comfort when my heart gets broken. I instead lose my appetite but I'm trying to move on and SparkPeople is helping me with it. Losing weight, getting fit, running, reading what my awesome friends on SparkPeople are doing... it all helps me build confidence in myself. I'm starting to like myself again. I think that's a huge thing.
I have a 5k run race tomorrow evening. I'm so looking forward to it but I don't expect to have much endurance for it. But that's OK. I just want to run a proper 5k race and have fun in the process!
