don't always get me down, but when the rainy day *is* a Monday and I have to attend a funeral, it kind of does get me down. Because of the stormy weather, no run on what should have been a running day. The funeral was a sad one as it was for a friend killed in a head-on collision. What compounded the sadness is that his wife died of cancer just 10 months ago. They leave two children, former students of DW and me, who are just hitting middle age and each of whom have two children. A nice family with the senior layer taken from them too early in their family development.
