Here's my dilemma.
About a year ago I started my profession as a cytotechnologist. Now what is that? Basically, I diagnose cancer for a living. Pap smears, Fine Needle Aspirations, sputum samples, any type of brushing, all comes through my microscope.
I had a retail job whilst looking for a job in my profession, that allowed me to eat like crap, and still maintain a healthy-ish figure. Welp, I sit down for eight hours a day. I still eat like crap. I briefly take a stroll around the hospital where I work when it's sunny.
The job is interesting, and I love it to death. It's sort of a surprise every time I put the slide on the microscope, because the human body truly doesn't have rules.
THAT SAID, I gained fifty pounds in a year. The job is stressful (co-workers mainly) and when I get home, I don't feel like doing anything. Just browsing the internet or watching some tv.
I need help, and suggestions as to what I can do to help combat this. Thanks. :)
