I know some of you have been looking for exercise ideas that you can take with you while you travel, are at home and don't have exercise equipment. well here is one I like.
Required 1 deck of playing cards. 4 exercises of your choice. 1 for each suit. When picking your exercises you can pick 4 exercises for the same area of the body or 1 for each area and get a whole body work out. If you complete the whole deck you are going to have done each exercise 107 times, so pick carefully.
Shuffle the deck
turn over the first card
do the exercise for that suit the # of times on the card
Jacks =11, queen = 12, kink=13 and A =14
How many cards can you do
To start with you might want to make things easier.
when doing exercises that are done on both sides, instead of doing both sides each time that exercise is pulled. do the left for 1 suit and the right with another.
make all face cards and the A, 10
Start with exercises like wall pushups or calf raises.
I like to do all me exercises in the same positions. All floor exercises, all ball exercises. I just don't like getting up and down.
If you are using weights, start with light weights, very light
SP has plenty of exercises to chose from.
This will also help keep your brain guessing. Even if you do the same exercises, you will be doing them in a different order and different # every time. Mixing up your exercises helps and this mixes things up.
