Weigh in Day

I always dread weigh in day...I've good ones and bad ones....this will be a big deal today as I have the ticker on my page so that everyone can see where I'm at with all this.

I did my strength training this morning and already feel more energized. I have to do my walks throughout the day and with the temps rising to 100 degrees today - it will be a warm one. I walk outside, I really dislike gyms a lot - I don't like being shut indoors anymore than I have to - love being out in the fresh air.

It's hard to get real fresh air here right now...we are officially between 2 fires in the mountains. I live near Denver Colorado and the huge High Park Fire is about 80 miles north and west of me, there is now a new fire - the Springer Fire - that just started yesterday about 60 miles south and west of me.

Scary stuff with all the beetle kill trees that are up in the mountains. I just keep everyone effected in my thoughts and hope for the best. to work for me. Hope that everyone has a wonderful Monday.

    That's great! Don't be frustrated that you only lost a pound. Losing slowly is the way to go. Then you'll be more likely to keep it off!

I lost a pound. I feel I should've lost more, but a pound is's at least going in the right direction.
