It is 2:30 am .....here in Central Texas...just home from the ER.
I am here because I know when I need Prayer, this is "THE" Place to run to!
This evening coming home from day 1 of VBS, we were in a terrible car wreck....it is only a Miracle that anyone is alive.
By God's Grace alone, we walked away. ( ( Thank YOU Jesus! ) )
I was driving our large touring van at 60 mph on a Hwy....and a truck pulled out into the oncoming traffic from a side street. He didn't look and he pulled into lane 1, then lane 2, then onto the brim...there was nowhere to go for me, but the ditch...so much traffic due to Father's Day.
Our van rolled 4 times before coming to a complete
EVERYONE was belted in as always....and the airbags worked! Praise God!
The wreck was such a bad one....more than 20 people ran to us to help....God is SO Good!! Amongst them was a nurse, a pastor and wife, EMT, sheriff, ambulance ( someone had called for us ), a kind couple that sat with my 3 children while I tended to my eldest son, Joshua. He was the only one injured...he was on the side where the van is so twisted, I can't recognize it.
He now has 8 staples and seven sutures in his head. Nothing was broken!
He had a cut on his forearm as well. The rest of us are bruised and of course - shaken. ( I am truly GLAD we always wear seat belts!! )
May I say, that the Lord is so good....ALL the time & I PRAISE His HOLY name because He brought us through this. It is truly by His hand that we were able to walk away from this at all. By the looks of it....several witnesses said they were even afraid to approach the van for fear of what they would find.
When I had my children safely on the side of the road, we prayed over Joshua, and claimed complete healing over him. We also prayed for the man who was in a state of shock for being the one who pulled out, and caused this accident. I felt so bad for him...he was devastated.
I want to share with you that God is my partner...and my Strength of Tower. He really is - dear friends. I was just talking with Him this afternoon in my quiet time telling Him how honored I am that He talks to me...and I know His Voice.
I love the relationship I have with Abba....my Father...my Daddy.
What a Father's Day this turned out to be...you never know what a day may bring, but I Can know I will be well because I place my complete trust in Jesus.
We need a family vehicle, but God will provide. And please pray for Joshua's continued healing. We are all of us - shaken. We all have close relationships with one another.... we are a strong family & I know we will become stronger by walking through this together.
