Mini Update on the Mini Update

I didn't binge today! YAY! That probably has to do with the fact that I FINALLY got some sleep! Oh, and that my back feels sooooooooooooooooooo much better. Thank YAHUEH! Huffing and puffing while getting -in- my car and crying over putting socks on was getting old, real fast! I found some awesome stretches on YouTube, did the ice and aspirin thing. It's not 100%; still hurts some, but it feels 73.567% better! HOORAY! *does a happy dance*
I think I have a bit of a chest cold now. (I'm aware of the irony that it's 95 and I have a cold...) and I'm massively dehydrated, but I'm working on remedying both things as we speak.
On the Dad front, my brothers did a total FAIL on my sister and I today, so we're going to give him his Father's Day stuff tomorrow. Then he leaves on Tuesday :( It went by so fast. Too fast... But his visit gives me hope that we will eventually be able to repair our relationship, it might not be the one that I wanted, but I'm okay with that.

On a different note, I think I'm ready to start making some dietary changes and add some exercise back into my life. I need to be careful to not allow myself to obsess about it, but I think as long as I can maintain my inner work stuff, I'm ready to start working on the physical. I'm sure I'll be blogging about them soon.

Before I go I should like to thank everyone who prayed for me over these last days and weeks (well, and ever for that matter). I was kinda worried about how things would go with my Dad and about the back pain and I really appreciate that you took the time to say a prayer, or send a warm thought my way.

    emoticon Good job with binging, keep up the roll.

Advise from someone with back issues and want to get moving! Take it slow and don't try to do too much, too fast. I know it is hard because we want to get moving and active, but can mess everything up so easy.

Take both things one day at a time and says lots of praise and prayers! emoticon emoticon Sue

    What a great blog to read. I am thrilled your back is getting better. God is great!! I am also glad that your Dad visit has been such a positive experience. You have a great attitude about the relationship you are building (even if it's never what you would like-maybe this is his best). I am also hear you had a good night's sleep.     Sorry your dad didn't come through for you and the sis today. Nice hearing that you do feel there can be a relationship of sorts in the future with him though.
