Its been 8 months since my last blog post.
I am trying to keep it together, tracking my nutrition intake, but losing my battle with portion control and regular consistent exercise.
My plan and goal for the next month or so is to control my portion sizes. I eat relatively healthy (80% of the time) but too much of anything helps pile on the calories.
My fitness levels have drastically plummeted in the last one year. I mentioned on my last blog post how grad school was taking its toll on me. I wake up every morning by 4am to study, and by the time I leave my work, its about 7.30-8pm. I'm totally pooped by the time I get home, with no energy to exercise since I like to hit the z button by 9.30pm (I try for atleast 6-7 hrs of sleep). I need to work on exercising atleast 4 times a week and my new strategy for this is:
Monday- Morning workout- Strength; Evening- Treadmill or Swim
Thursday- Morning workout- Strength; Evening- Treadmill or Swim
Saturday- Treadmill run (4 miles); Evening- swim
Sunday- Treadmill run (4 miles)
I will try to work on this for the remainder of this month and hopefully blog updates to keep myself motivated.
