Hmm...I'm struggling this week, I think.

Sunday, June 17, 2012

So today is Father's Day. Just talked to my dad for 35 mins...he's having a rough time without my brother Matt this year for the first time. :( Very sad. That's life sometimes.

My husband and I are a little off track on our 5k training. We've just had a lot going on this week...he's been working on a design project as side work all week after a full day of regular work, and I have been doing a lot of reading and watching lectures for school. Also, his truck broke down on Tuesday, so I've been driving us around everywhere all week, to and from our jobs and anywhere else we've needed to go. We aren't getting the truck fixed until we have enough in cash. We haven't rebuilt our emergency fund enough yet since we just used it in the past couple months to get my car fixed and our computer needed a new video card. We will not let his truck breaking down put us into credit card debt! Anyways, we did one run less than we should have....and the one we did this morning we only did 4 rounds of it instead of 6, but at least it's something! I've been terrible about logging my food lately...just haven't been coming on spark people as much due to school work and my job I guess! Also, I haven't done 30-Day shred since last Sunday! I really gotta crack down on it this week for sure. I have a better work schedule this coming week, so I'm excited to get a little deeper in the game :) I'm not struggling too bad, life just gets crowded sometimes I guess.

Goals this week: Log food, Do 30 Day Shred at least three times, and stay on track for 5k Training

Logging food is a commitment, and it does take some time form the habit. If you eat the same or a similar meal once a month or more and track it, it becomes easier, because you can just copy paste it to the current day from the last time you ate it.

Looks like you're sticking to your goals now that you've laid them out. Great job!

I will pray for you this week that your able to organize your schedule and get your training in for the 5K! I know how difficult it can be to fit exercise into your life! Have a blessed day! Keep your chin up and remember our heavenly Father never forsakes us! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
