Day 5 Surgery Recovery

Saturday, June 16, 2012

I have managed to upload a picture of my foot! (Not very good with this kind of technology, I am somewhat sad to say....).

My recovery continues. Today, I got kind of bored, which is not good for me as it lowers my mood. But this evening, I did some housework and now I am on line, blogging away!

I am using the cane very little now, and am actually going up and down the stairs without it. Most of the time I forget where I put it. The basic issue with my foot is it swells up when I am on it a lot, so it presses against the tightly wrapped bandage, and that hurts a bit.... What the heck, my feet swell in the hot weather, surgery or no.

The bandage will be changed on June 28 at the Fracture Clinic at the hospital (love that name) so I will have to work with what I have for some time longer. But the days do manage to go by...

Have a lovely evening everyone, I'll blog again tomorrow.

You're starting to sound like me, girlfriend. I'd lose my head if it wasn't hooked on. Although that gal about knocked it lose when she backed into my van with her van. (Thanks for 'friending' me.) I think when you get bored you have a tendency to do more to get better. Just my opinion.

Keep getting better and keep on posting. I think you did a marvelous job with the picture of your foot. Good gal.
