I have always wanted to tell people that I make afghans's for people but I never had one to show until now. I love to make then because it shows my creative side of me and I know that with a lot of motivation and inspiration I can finish the one I am working on before July. My heart is in my crafts and I want to share the 2 I have finished with you all. Please let me know what you all think of these two please. The first one was made a year ago and here it is

and this new one was a baby blanket made for my godson. He is 4 months old now and he is in foster care. Let me know what you think of it as well.

It means alot to me to have your opinions so please let me know.
My crafts are my way of expressing myself and helps me think of what to do when it comes to my weight and the way I want to lose it.

BEautiful! I too used to love to crochet and knit. The one for your nephew (sorry to hear he is in care!) looks like one a friend made for my youngest dd. I used the Phentex Merit to make a baby ripple afghan for Mya. They have such nice bright colors in lots of shades and it washes really well and I find it turns out very soft.

Have you ever tried to do just an elongated granny square? They make up really nice for baby cribs....

Oh my, so beautiful both of them are and they're so full of talent!! You should be so very happy and pleased with all your labor of love that went into both of them. I admire anyone who can do such a talent like that! I can sing and play the piano and harmonica but to knit or crochet, that's way beyond my head! Awesome work!

Thanks ladies, The first one took me 1 week to make and the second one 4 months but it was worth it because the second one is going to a special little baby boy that
I will never get to see again. He is my godson and he and hisn parents are moving to the states soon. I have another afghan on the as well and this one is knitted.

I love the 1st one, feel so homely :D The second one reminds me autumn leaves and at other angles, I somehow saw birds with wings spread wide.

Great job!
