Usually when it's time to workout I rotate through the three Firm workouts that I like (Hi-Def Sculpt, Hard Core Fusion, and Cardio Overdrive). Sometimes I throw in a Zumba workout video, Tae-bo, or Insanity... those are all great, but nothing beats getting outside and doing something different.
So today I decided to go on a hike. The weather down here has been absolutely gorgeous... I'm talking sunny, in the upper 70's or low 80's, and a crisp breeze. Why not take advantage of the outdoors before it is sweltering?
I ended up hiking for an hour and a half :D and I burned 1000 calories!! Heck, maybe I'll hit 208 in a day or two with all this energy and drive to work out that I'm having!
Even better, on Wednesday when I'm in Ohio getting my wedding dress re-sized, I'm going on an 8.5 mile kayaking trip in the afternoon and then doing one of my favorite things that night, LINE DANCING :) I miss it so much because they don't exactly have a whole lot of line dancing places down here (although there is a new one in Burlington I need to try).
Oh and I did a waist to height calculator today and it said I was in the "normal" range... how cool is that?! I guess being 5'10 does have some perks :)
Almost time to make dinner though, we're doing a recipe I created called "chicken parm bites" ... low carb and you can decide how many you eat and how much sauce you put on them :D
