Starting over, once again

Saturday, June 16, 2012

Now that I've officially regained all my weight, I'm once again starting over. It won't be as easy because I'm 8 years older and last time I'd just had a baby so my metabolism was at an all-time high. But I can and will do it, slowly but surely. First step, accept my body as it is today:

Now to work on moving it more, and eating less...simple, huh ;)

You already have some of the knowledge of what is needed and the knowledge that you CAN do it, so you do have a step up on those who haven't begun.

(Reminds me of the saying that no matter how slow we're running, we're still lapping those on the couch. You're going to move, so you're ahead of all the non-starters already!)

I love that you are going to accept your body today...make peace and embrace it...it even helps you want to do the best things for it...exercise more, make healthier eating choices.

I can't remember the exact qoute... a failure isn't someone who goes down, but stays down.

So congrats to you for getting back up.

Thank you for your comments. I have regained 21 of my 70 pounds and I need to stop. Yes I too need to accept my body as it is. I have never done that. Thanks!
