So doing the Shred on my non-running days hasn't gone so well...I think I'm just burnt out and need something different.
I found the Insanity workout program online...
I previewed a lot of the workouts and just by watching bits of the workouts, I've found a new drive and determination to commit to this program.
So tomorrow I'm going to take my measurements along with the fit test and before pictures. And then on monday, I'll start the workouts. I've already printed on the schedule and such. THe videos are streaming, so I just hope that I'm able to complete the workouts w/o any complications.
I counted out the weeks and it ends right before the schools start back up, so its a perfect summer challenge!
I want to keep running though, so I still have to figure out how to do both...
I think that I will run on my running days and come home, take a little break and then just try my best with the workout for that day. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to cut my miles back a bit and just do whatever the podcast is for the day...instead of what I have been doing, which is do the current C25k podcast and then do a easier week's podcast, so that I could get a longer run in.
oh and I'm just focusing on me or doing me for a while... if anything comes out of meeting that guy, then when and if something comes up...well then I'll let myself get that giddy anticipation feeling again, but I'm not going to sit around waiting for it. I'm just going to do me!
