School, child raising, and life in general get in the way of diet and exercise... as I'm sure we are all well aware of. I, like many, am victim of this. I lost 10 pounds with Sparks before I steered away from my diet because of lack of time and probably a little bit of ego that I could continue solo. Fortunately, I did pick up some good habits and I did not gain the weight back. It's just a minor set back. I am ready to move forward.

What spurred me to get back on track? My figure drawing class. There is a huge mirror in the classroom/studio. Every day, when I sit on my stool, ready to draw, I can see myself. I do not like the bulge around my tummy and hips. I am very self conscious. When I get dressed in the morning, I look for outfits that compliment my figure when sitting. I have noticed at get-togethers with friends that I force myself to stand to avoid this (what I think) is unsightly bulge of fat. So instead of avoiding the issue, I need to address it.
