goals for 6/17-6/26

Well, I didn't do as well as I had hoped this week as far as meeting my goals went. I gained a pound... emoticon I own it though...It was a combo of drinking too much soda again and not enough exercise. I kind of expected it. Still, it upsets me though. As far as decluttering, that one I did good with. I managed to clean out one closet and get one bag of clothes that I don't wear anymore--not because of size really but more because they're just old and worn out. So, that was a good start. And, YES, I saved $20!! I managed to hold on to $20 this week, which to anyone who may know about the ups and downs of being bipolar, will understand what an achievement this is..lol emoticon. So, that was a positive thing. I also made a few SP recipes that went over well with the fam. My fave was the candied sweet potatoes...OMG we all loved them. Im def gonna make those again!

So, my goals for this week are as follows:

1.) lose 2lbs.
2.) get my nails done (because I've lost 10lbs. total so I deserve it) or buy one outfit
3.) clean the walls in my house and get ready for them to be painted
4.) continue to hold on to that beloved $20 and not give into that temptation to spend it. Hubby can pay for my nails or outfit.
5.) stop drinking soda!! Try to get in atleast 6 glasses of water..a previous goal which I did not meet so I'm going to try it again...

I think 5 goals is plenty. So, we'll see how they work out. I'm hoping for the best.

    Soda is my biggest down fall, I've cut back alot but there are days when I go overboard w/ them.. especially when I'm super busy at work.

    Good girl!! Holding on to $20 is huge! As a fellow BP sufferer, I can understand how great that is and how difficult it was. Hubby paying for your nails? Only fair all things considered! I also have goals similar to yours for the week and think I will add saving $20 to them.....Again, congrats! Keep up the good work and keep your water glass full!!

First of all, you owned your gain - it is what it is, and you know what to do about it! A gain is not a failure - keep putting one foot in front of the other! emoticon

emoticon Congratulations on saving $20 AND for decluttering!

As for the soda thing - I was majorly addicted to Coke. I would have a glass of Coke as soon as I woke up in the morning and went downstairs. I drank nothing but Coke - no lie. I started cutting back to where I would only have one glass per day, and by then, I'd started incorporating sparkling water into my day instead of soda! My favorite is S. Pellegrino with fresh raspberries - OMG so yummy! Just a thought for you to ponder - regardless, you ROCK!!!
