Time is doing that flying thing again. It's mid-June and I'm already thinking about July's goals. :(
One thing at a time, girlie!
Here's a recap and update on the June goals:
~ Make at least 3 of my hourly walks campus-wide (ie. 5 minutes round trip minimum)
The walking doesn't get done as evenly spaced through the day as I'd like - I REALLY need to get up from that darned desk more often - but it is getting done.
~ Take my supplements at bedtime every night
~ Keep stretching my meals out, with a goal to eliminate daytime snacks entirely
I can nearly always go 4 hours between meals now with no discomfort, but 5 is still not working very often. I think my blood sugar just goes too low at that point and I feel both hungry and cranky. Unfortunately, though, eliminating snacks is not eliminating total calories. When I go longer between meals I tend to eat more at the meal itself. Just hungrier.
~ No beer before 10:10 and no more than 3 allowed, even if I'm up late
Biggest surprise of the month so far. Had 2 days when I went over at the very beginning of the month, but have stuck to 3 or less otherwise. It's still sheer willpower and not habit, but it'll get there. In my world a rule is a rule and I'll stick to the rule even if I don't wanna. No change in weight from it yet, but it's still early days.
So. I'm doing well as far as sticking to my goals, which is gratifying. I'm still doing my Not So Itty Bitty Anymore Routine too - building lots of muscle under all that flubber. Also added the crazy jumping jacks this month - thanks, Kris, for the idea of the "curb jumps"! So lots of small progress going on.
