I Joined the 2012 Summer 5% Challenge

It runs from June 23rd to August 18th. I have to lose 7 pounds according to the formula. That will put me 3 pounds from goal. Hopefully I will be able to lose it all, but since I haven't lost anything I don't know. I NEED this challenge to do it I think. They are still taking names in case you are interested.

    My situation, too. I need to lose 7 pounds -- doing that will put me at (below, actually) current goal (I have 3 pounds to goal) -- so I'm doing it to encourage myself to make it to that goal. It is an interim goal -- I'll set another 5-pound goal when I hit it.

The problem for me with the challenges is that I am not so good at tracking what the teams want (Epic Fail!!) and feel that I'm letting the team down. But, I figure that they'll kick me out if they don't like the fact that I'm not doing it correctly, and in the meantime, I'll lose weight and support other people! LOL

5% -- here we come!

    That was more or less my situation when I joined the Spring Challenge. I'm now at goal and in the Summer one to help maintain. I think they are really helpful as well as being fun. Enjoy!
