A Litte Progress!

Ok so I started getting serious about getting these lbs off last week! I am regaining strength after surgeries and some illness, so here is what I have been up to, I lost 2 lbs this week!

1...Got rid of all junk foods, and sweet stuff

2.. Planned my menus every day, made sure I had healthy snacks in place

3..Purchased lean meat, fish, chicken, bought lots of fresh veggies and fruit

4..Drank 8-10 glasses of water daily

5..Got in 30 min exercise or more daily ( I will add to this as I grow stronger!

6..Came into Spark and interacted with the people that give me so much encouragement and support...love you gals!

I know we keep hearing the same things over and over, but it is what works, I find when I start returning back to my old ways, the weight also returns, so this plan works, and I am aiming for 2-5 lbs for this month, I have 2 off so 3 more to go!

    Good that you are getting over the illness and finding your way back to becoming healthy and in better shape..
Boredom is my enemy too especially in the evenings,then I do not even look for good food but the bad stuff. So keep it out the house is a great idea.
Take it easy on that knee though

    You make a good point about the "same things over and over" but when we allow ourselves to veer off the tried-and-true course, our goals become that much more distant.

Two pounds is super! You're obviously doing something very right!

    Good to hear you know what works. "If we alway do what we always did we'll always get what we always got." (Not original from me) I was inroduces by another Spark to NSVs - Non Scale Victories. Looks like you are finding both.
