You are your motivation!

Friday, June 15, 2012

Guys, let me share with you about this. So far I always try to loose weight with a wrong way and wrong motivation for the worst. Usually I try to become slim for: guys (oh please yes I did this a lot), looks good on a part/ event.

Guess what, every time the motivation is gone, for example is break up or the party is over then I ate more than ever. I have problem with emotional eating, yes sweets 'are' my healer (please God help me to get rid off this habit). Again I repeat this over and over.

I'm tired of this, now I keep telling myself, you are your one and only motivation. Do this for yourself! Ffiuhh, if you have the same experience, look yourself in the mirror and say, you can do this, you r your motivation!

    You are definitely not alone!
I am an emotional eater and my healer is carbs! which is a complete and utter disaster.
    but, here's what I do:
    - Do not associate losing weight or exercising with guys. how? while on the treadmill and you are feeling tired but your goal is 2 hours for instance, just keep saying this is for myself. or when you are too lazy to get up and do some ab workouts or whatever, just think how much exercising boosts your spirit. for me, exercising makes me feel soo energetic through out the day that's why I always do it in the morning but when I am too lazy to do it, I just think of how much energetic and centered I am after a daily 1 hour exercise in the morning.

    - When I feel like I need to have a piece of pie or cheesecake or some pasta after a long day at school (I am university student :)), I get myself in the kitchen and make that food from scratch BUT I don't eat it, I give it to some friends or neighbors as a kind gesture. Because for me, cooking takes out the energy inside of me to enjoy beautiful food so instead of eating it, I smell it or make it. (not sure of this works on everyone though, I have a passion towards cooking that's why it helps me) if you would like to learn cooking or baking, try they have a series of videos including recipes that are very helpful.

-If you are a sweet tooth and you don't really need to loose a lot of weight, You can a have a slice of cheesecake or 1 cupcake or 1 cookie every now and then but MAKE SURE it's very reduced quantities. so that you can have a little bit of everything and still enjoy a healthy body thus a healthy mind ;)

    - Concerning motivation, you can try meditation and channel your thoughts towards this "I deserve a healthy body and a healthy life" because emotional eaters tend to think negative thoughts about themselves and that they don't deserve having a healthy body. so always reassure yourself that you deserve a healthy body.

P.S: these tips really work for me :) so I thought they might help you as well ;) best of luck!
