Today is the first day of my BL team's summer challenge. We are supposed to write a blog stating our goals for the challenge (10 weeks) and how we will achieve them.

Goal by the end of the 10 week challenge:

Lose at least 10 pounds.

How I will do it:

Keep my calories below 2000 every single day.
Keep my calories below 1600 at least 4 days a week.
Exercise of some sort 5-7 days a week.

Now I just have to do it. I'm going to do it this time. I'm sick and tired of being fat. I hate putting on my summer clothes and barely being able to zip up the shorts or look at myself in a mirror without cringing. I'm going to do this. Anyone can lose 10 pounds, right? Right. Here I go.

    Maybe it would help to be a little more specific with your goals.

    How will you accomplish 1600 calorie days?
    How will you structure your eating?
    How many meals, at what intervals?
    Approximate calorie range per meal/snack?
    I find it helps tremendously if I spell out the specifics: Let's say, breakfast every day between 8 and 10, max. calories 400. (Something along those lines.)

    Same for exercise. Exercise of what sort?
    Spell it out!
    Maybe you want to alternate walking with 10 minute Coach Nicole videos?
    Maybe work on building a streak of doing 10 minutes every day throughout the entire challenge.
    Schedule it. Put it in your calendar.

    The fewer things you leave up to chance the better.

    Hope you'll blog throughout your challenge so we know how you're doing and also so we can cheer you on.

    10 lbs in 10 weeks is a great goal and very attainable.
