Boy, am I sore!
The kind of sore where, when you're stretching out one thing, something else cramps up and you end up looking like Gumby - yowza. Drinking a Catalyst and trying to do office yoga/stretching before pilates.
It'll be a wild ride if I'm cramping up while trying to get my legs over my head (those darn things are heavy - c'mon, triceps, work with me here...). Certainly I'm not afraid to laugh at myself, but *looking* crazy in front of a class is another thing altogether.
ANYWAY. I've lost another pound; this whole less is more thing is really working out for me. MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
--I am sleeping much better
--I'm hauling ass rather than dragging it!
--If for no other reason, doing less cardio is worth not feeling hungry ALL THE DAMN TIME. I can eat within my calorie range, stay out of the kitchen at night, and my ill-reasoned snacking has dwindled to a passing "hm, I'll just wait"
--I am in a MUCH better mood
--My clothes fit SO much better, like - I might have to start buying new underwear here soon better.
It's not losing weight but losing that little layer of "jelly" that makes ALL the difference.
--Did I mention how much better I feel? Overtraining sucks!
