5% Summer Challenge

I am appreciating the reevaluation assignments from the 5% summer challenge. I seem to need the challenge to get moving again. I signed up for the Daisey team but don't know yet what team I'll be on. This is my first team challenge effort, and I'm looking forward to getting started. 5% will mean about 9 pounds to lose by August 18. Sounds daunting based on the last five months lack of progress, but I am satisfied that I have not gained significantly. That is what I want to achieve ultimately when I get down to my goal. I do not want to be a yo-yo any longer.

    I find this challenge brilliant for keeping me motivated. The pre challenge assignments are useful and the living healthily ones during the challenge help to refocus all the time. I hope to be a Casual Traveller again - see you on the journey emoticon

    Congrats Janet. I opted out this summer because I am gone more than I'm here and can't post. Which would hurt the team. I'm still challenging myself and doing pretty good with all my exercise. Good luck to you.

    We just need to keep trying and not giving up. I may not be losing but I'm not going back to where I was or who I used to be EVER.

    Can one still join this challenge, this would be wonderful for me to keep focused on during the summer? How do you find the challenge???
