Let me start off this blog by saying this is what I am thinking is the case for ME. You may or may not agree but in my individual situation...I believe this to be true.
It seems like since I have gotten older I have put on alot of my weight. I was a size 7/8 in high school (I thought I was fat then!!) I never had a problem with weight when I was in high school because I was either walking everywhere or biking.
Since I have gotten older, married and had 4 girls...I feel like in a sense I have gotten lazier. Hear me out first...LOL I dont' get to walk everywhere, I DRIVE. I haven't rode a bike in over 12 YEARS! I am constantly on the go with my kids schedules. This is in NO way their fault! I am responsible for my decisions and making healthy eating choices should be one of them.
I just feel like as I have gotten older...in the active, physcially area of my life I have gotten lazier. I LOVE my life and being a stay at home mom. I am truly blessed to be able to do it but it has caused some havoc on my weight.
My solution: Better eating choices and more workouts. I know its just not realistic to walk/bike everywhere...especially where I live! I am going to work on preventing the gain in the first place! Then adding a couple extra workouts to kick this added weight to the curb!
