VS pants arrived today

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

... and the jury's still out. The pants I mentioned in my previous blog entry fit... sort of? In that they rest on my hips, but I just don't fill the legs or thighs the way Victoria's Secret wants me to. emoticon

Ah, forgot the flash was on. Apologies for the mess, and yep, that's a cheesehead! emoticon

What do you mean these pants don't make me look as leggy and fabulous as Alessandra Ambrosio?!? emoticon Apparently a 30" inseam is still too long for someone who's 5'3.5"...

One more shot before the batteries died. It was very awkward taking this photo while trying to keep my balance on the bench press, and I think it shows...

After this experience, my impression is that VS pant sizes run slightly small.

So yes. They fit. Sort of. They're just a little big. But not as big as most jeans in this size are on me, and maybe not *too* big, you know? There's a slim chance that I could have gotten away with a size smaller, but there's also a good chance that I wouldn't be able to button them up. Which is why I ordered a size up, erring on the side of caution.

I like them enough to keep them (for "those" days... when you're feeling a bit more bloated than usual), but the next time I order pants from VS.com, I'll put my money on the smaller size so that I can know ONCE AND FOR ALL what I will fit into. If there is a next time, anyway.

Yeah, I slept on it and agree that they look a bit big on me. VS now lets you return online purchases in store (at no cost to customers?), so maybe they'll let me process an exchange there!

I think they look a little big on you! I've heard with VS pants they should be so tight you can't do anything but model walk in a straight line in them butttt... go you for knowing you can go smaller! And - lol cheesehead?!

Lol :-) glad they worked out after all. Use the bench for step ups and you'll build up those legs like you want too ;-)
