Tuesday, June 12, 2012

I found this article today and am anxious to try it out. I work out hard almost everyday and don't lose weight. Will follow this for a few months and report back.

This is very interesting, especially as I work on reducing the negative impact of my own hypothyroidism.

My niece is a Physician's Assistant and has thyroid issues. After getting ignored by my primary care physician for a long time, my niece strongly encouraged me to see an Endocrinologist, who diagnosed me immediately. The Primary Care was wrong. ** Just a note, if I eat too many calories, I gain immediately, as well, so it is finding those magic "maintain" and "lose" numbers.

How very intersting. I had told my hubby that eating low calorie added weight to my body, but every dr I have talked to has refused to test my thyroid because I look healthy enough ( i have other thyroid symptoms such has hair loss, cold hands and feet, etc)... I may have to consider this higher calorie diet.
