I just wanted to update. My weight has been a "yoho", but I have gotten my hands on a book that has helped me out a lot this last week. I have found what the culprit is, carbs, and have been following a very strict meal plan, but this is only for another week. After that, phase 2 will begin, where I will slowly be upping my carbs.
Though I have not been keeping track on here (aka slacking) I have been finding time to exercise 4 times a week with just one dumbbell and a workout stretch band. I have been feeling more energized. My weight is kind of stuck, but I am seeing results in the mirror as the fat is slowly turning to muscle!!! I am very excited about this and feeling very positive!!
