Day 2 of 5k Training

I thought today would be better than my first day of training, but it was not. My legs are so sore from Zumba yesterday, especially my calves, and it made walking/running painful. But I pushed through it. Each time I was supposed to run for 1 minute I wasn't able to complete the full minute, but I did most of it. And I took a break again halfway through.
The next day I have to train is two days from now so hopefully it will go much better next time. Even though the 8-week rookie program says to rest on Thursday, I really want to go for a walk just to get used to moving.
I have Zumba again tomorrow. LOL I'm dreading it and excited at the same time.

    Zumba takes some getting used to. Just remember you don't have to work at your highest intensity (or the intensity the instructor does) right off the bat. Let your body adjust.

    I think you can definitely go for a run Thursday even though your program says not to - its good to keep your muscles moving and walking probably will not cause any problems for your training program!

Congrats on starting the program, btw!!
