So I made it safely to Minnesota, where I'll be spending my summer working on a leadership program. My hotel is nice... the hotel gym, not so much. There's a couple of treadmills, a couple of ellipticals, and a bike. The equipment isn't as nice as the gym back home, but I'll have to make due. I called around for gym prices and in Minneapolis, that's a bit more high priced than Wisconsin. Running is free, so I'm going to start the Couch to 10k program. Well, I started it yesterday. We will see where it gets me this time. Last time around I had bad shoes and got shin splints. Hopefully by the end of the summer I'll increase my stamina! You more than likely will not see a ton of blog updates from me this summer as my working hours have increased (from 6:45-3:45 with drive time to... 7:00-6:00 with drive time) where I am losing about 2 hours of my day due to commute and overtime. But that's ok! Keeping busy keeps me healthy, wealthy, and wise ;)
...when I do have free time I'm going to make sure I hit the hotel's gym a few times a week and READ. I need suggestions. What is everyone reading out there? (I've already read Twilight, Hunger Games, 50 Shades of Grey so those are out)
