I left for a weekend at the Lake and stayed an extra day. This totally threw me off with my blogging. We entertained company on sunday and stayed until monday.
The fishing was fabulous I caught a tagged trout with a $10.00 prize!
I wish that I had taken a photo of the amazing meal I prepared. Grilled chicken breasts, skinny pasta and Potato salads, PANFRIEDTROUT'S coleslaw, cubed watermelon, sliced cantaloupe, sliced avocados and grape tomatoes! All worked in my nutrition tracker and was healthy for ALL!
I kept a paper journal so that I could finalize the challenge!
1. Walk at least 6,000 steps a day and reach for 10,000 /
Day 8 =8799 Day 9 =1814 ( was fishing most of the day) Day 10=9274
2. Log all food consumed on the food tracker daily / completed and modified. Saturday was weak as I did not eat much while fishing. I did drink over 100 ounces of water! Yeah!
3. Take meds and record blood pressure readings daily / took meds daily
day 8=129/85 Day 9=132/86 Day 10= 128/81
4. Pack my lunch everyday/ or eat at home NO FAST FOOD / completed ! I saved calories for sunday. We had fresh strawberry shortcake and I splurged! I stayed with in my calories though!
5.Check in with Spark People at least once a day. AS I was offline for 3 days I could not complete this part of the challenge. But I constantly reminded my self to stay on task and to never give up!
