Thunder Up Oklahoma beat the Miami Heat!!!!!!!!!

Tonight is the Basketball play offs! WooHoo!!! The Oklahoma City Thunder ( very new Young NBA team) plays the Miami Heat in Oklahoma City tonight!!! emoticon Go Thunder!!!!!
I got home last night and We took a bushel of corn to Our Friend and went to eat!! When We got home DH shucked and cleaned corn while I vacuum sealed it! We got a bushel done last night and divided it between the DDs. We still have a bushel to do tonight! emoticon

    Sorry, sweetie....I'm glad *YOU'RE* happy about the Thunder, but as a Puget Sound resident who was a Seattle Sonics supporter (say that 3 times fast!), I can't root for OKC. But I hope YOU enjoy the games!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Oh boy! A corn grower!! Let me ask you this. My NDN grows as much eatable stuff as possible and one of her favs for eating is corn. She plants is every year, but this year, something is snipping it off right about ground level. It is not eaten or disturbed in any other way, just sheared. Is this a "cut worm"? She has taken to placing toothpicks around them and so far, so good. I've never tried corn myself, but my gardens just don't get hardly enough sun to plant anything as too many trees and branches have grown and changed my little micro-climate.
Sounds like you are harvesting plenty!!! Way to go!!

    The Thunder isn't exactly a "new team" because they were in Seattle for a number of years. They just happen to be the best one this year. emoticon
