I have set my treadmill back up and have just embarked on what I am calling my treadmill journey. My doctor and I decided I need to walk for an hour per day at 6 kms per hour.
This I can not do straight away. I need to build. I have started with 20 mins at 5kms per hour with 10 mins at 6kms.
I am a bit sore but I am still impressed with myself so far. I have 7 more weeks to be doing this before I see my doctor again. I know the first few weeks will be hard.
I looked on sparkpeople and they had a 12 week plan to increase to 40 mins but I need to vamp it up a bit more. See how I go.
