I have been tracking my food, without changing the way I eat (except slightly more aware) for the past three days. Let me just say I am appalled at how many calories I have been taking in!!!! It is really eye opening to see how fast those little things add up and It is no wonder I weigh what I do.Sspark recommends at first just use the trackers and eat like normal. It totally makes sense to do this just to see how a typical day of eating adds up.
I went out for dinner with DC last night. Mexican food...one of our favorite spots. Well...I thought I will do good and have grilled chicken, & salad. SO I get home and I start tracking which is kinda a guessing game since I did not cook this meal. The grilled chicken was highly seasoned and I am sure the sodium level was other-worldly but that is not all...oh no, the chips & salsa that go down sooo easy. I mean. really.
I will not be discouraged. I will continue to track. I have got to take control over this situation and NOW.
My goals for today were also a bust...I wont even recap.
I will just look forward and set them for tomorrow.
1. Still need to take those stinking initial measurements.
2. Blog 4 (since I can apparently hit this goal every day)
4. fast break goals. (not doing so great on these either)
So anyway I obviously am struggling but I will keep trudging along on this journey and hopefully clear out a few obstacles to make the path a little easier. The first days are the hardest days.
