I am almost done with the 5 day fast forward (today is day 5), and I'm so excited to eat toast tomorrow!!!
Even with my substitutions: flavored yogurt, less spinach, no tea, I still lost 3 lbs. I probably would have lost more if I had stuck to the plan 100%, but I totally cheated by adding sugar to some really tart raspberries (I don't think they were quite ripe yet), and excluding the nightly smoothie for another serving of yogurt. But you have to make it work for you... Also since yesterday was Saturday date day I totally cheated by having a turkey sausage link that I made for my boyfriend and a tiny little pancake with some syrup plus for lunch he had mcdonalds and I substituted my yogurt for a mcflurry lol I know that's pushing it, but oh well. On top of that, I ate dinner with my family: pulled pork sandwiches and corn on the cob, so I totally went off the plan yesterday. But even with all of that, I still lost 3lbs.
Maybe I still lost weight because a lot of those 3lbs was just junk (candy, sugar, etc.) that I had gained last month. May 8th I was 140 and somehow managed to gain 4 lbs with unhealthy choices.
For the rest of June, I plan on trying the 25 day core program of sass yourself slim, with some substitutions of course, and working out 5 times a week. A combination of bodyrock, swimming, and whatever else I feel like doing. After June I'll reevaluate for July. Tomorrow I'll be taking new measurements and progress pictures.
