Thank you all for your understanding and support re: my dabbling in Intermittent Fasting.
I am continuing with it, at least until I have to live in a bathing suit for a few weeks in mid-July.
I was happy with the scale this morning but I bounce around so much I try not to pay much attention to that.
I finally fessed up to DH (who still hadn't noticed but I hate keeping secrets) and he really was only concerned that I may develop headaches (my tendency when I restrict calories too much).
I am finding it almost effortless (after that first tough day!) and have done MY version of IF (fasting 8 pm to 2 or 3 o'clock) about 6-7 days so far with no bad effects.
I do it 2-3-4 days per week, and break my fast with a mini-meal (like yogurt and an apple) and then eat a normal healthy dinner.
I am giving it 4-6 weeks before I evaluate the effectiveness for ME.
I have GOT to get aboard the weight loss train again and 5-6 small meals a day was just not working for me.
Remember- to each his/her own.
BTW- had another
workout today- burned just over 800 cals in 90 minutes- in a fasting state.
