The biggest holiday of my summer is the opening of the outdoor pool, and with a predicted high near 90 degrees F today, I celebrated.
Adult swim was from noon to one. I got there a little early, with correct change, so that I could buy my family season pass--which is really a matter of updating a computer record. The line was already out the door, and when I noticed that others just entered their codes and proceeded to the water, I tried mine. It has been the same for 2 years now, and, as expected, it worked. It just happened to note that my membership was expired. I fully intended to complete my transaction when I left, but the line was still backed up. I really will not continue to steal access to the water, but they ought to have more help on hand opening day.
And they need to repair the outdoor showers. What's up with that?
