As I wait for the Summer 5% Challenge to begin, I'm trying to make a plan and actually put some parts of this plan into action BEFORE the challenge.
Today, I was a mess, double portions for lunch, unhealthy dinner, it was so hot and I was inactive most of the day...As the day moved on, I felt worse and worse. However, I decided not to sit around and complain but went for a 43 minute walk instead. Yes, the day could have been a lot better, no weight loss tomorrow, but at least I changed my way of thinking at the end of the day and felt better.
Don't be too hard on yourself.
Look at things from the objective point of view.
Think positively - actually see what you did good and congratulate yourself on that.
Make a change step by step.
Move on after the "downs" and don't dwell on them.
Share your struggles.
To have a friend, be a friend - support your team mates.
