So as I mentioned in my last blog, I'm having some pretty severe Plantar Fasciatis issues. And so really all I've been doing since the half marathon is Yoga twice a week. Well that has led to feeling like a real slug. When I'm used to working out 5 days a week and then all of a sudden I'm down to 2. Yeah not the way to go.
So this morning as every morning I needed to make my daily pilgrimage to Starbucks. Usually it's by car since I go on my way to work (to survive the 30 mile commute).
But since it's the weekend... I rode my daughter's bike. Whew that was quite the workout. First it's a cruiser with no gears, secondly other than a stationary bike in the gym it's the first bike ride I've done in probably 8+ years. But it was nice to get out, enjoy the sunshine, feel the breeze and get some exercise!
I just gotta keep switching things up until my foot heals instead of sitting around on my butt. These pounds aren't gonna just fall off by themselves.
