Well the scale isn't moving too much, but I was cutting up some chicken yesterday, and noticed I have veins in my fingers. So I must be losing some fat at least. I have been walking a lot, and stayed busy, even played some basketball twice this week. Today I am looking at some pool time when the sun gets lower. Not swimming.. just It is already hot outside ( 82 ), and going up to 90. Since I burn easily, I will wait till 6 or 7 pm. Funny thing is in my apt. my brother turned the AC down to 75, and I woke up freezing.. I am wearing a long sleeved shirt, but when I go outside, I feel hot. I was drenched when I got home from my walk, since I waited till 8 am to go.

Today I am doing laundry, and reading another book by John Scalzi called Zoe's Tale, a different point of view of The Last Colony by the same author, told by the daughter Zoe, instead of her father. Kind of the same as reading all the books about the disaster on Everest in 1996 from different people who were on the mountain. Very Interesting, and cool that Scalzi can keep it all straight. Much easier to show different angles of real events. With a fictional story, you can mess up a lot easier.

Game of Thrones season is over, so now I can watch all 10 episodes in a row. Also tonight a new show I like is on.. Longmire on A&E. I can't remember ever watching anything on A&E before, but I like this show so far, and with the Tigers playing sub - .500 ball, my options are slim. At this point even X factor would be okay.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, see ya!

I discovered 70 degrees was my comfy temperature when it was something like 92 outside!

I got burnt one day, walking back from lunch along the waterway, felt terrible, had little choice but to keep walking :(

Well it sounds like you are doing things right.... remember as I forget as well that the scale is NOT the only judge of our progress. Lots of us get stuck in the numbers game.
You are doing a emoticon job. Keep it up.

I know about heat as well.... today it feels worse because of the humidity.... we have rain. Thank goodness for my bike and walking and other videos..... no excuses for me *LOL*

Thanks for posting.... you are an inspiration! Please keep up your blogs.
