I'm new to this SparkPeople but not new to dieting. Oh no, I'm a professional dieter.
The fact that I live with a chef doesn't help the matter. 15 years and 50 lbs later....it's time to do something.
I used to be on Weight Watchers and did quite well at losing. Then they changed it and I couldn't adjust. Stopped losing and even started gaining.
No point in paying for that - I can do that quite well on my own for free!
So my short term goals are:
1) fit into my pants without looking like the Michelin Man
2) be able to walk up my stairs without wheezing
3) stop this persistent ache in my body from carrying so much extra weight.
I'm hopeful this can be done. And it all starts with hope.
