See if you can spot where my right calf became painful. Bonus is you can find where it started to feel tight before it actually hurt.
I started a bit faster than I meant to. A running friend decided to join me me for the run. Ended up carrying on a conversation with him rather than concentrating on how I was running. The right calf has become somewhat tight before (from my injury 6+ months ago) but it had never become painful. When the pain started, it wasn't much but it did get to the point I was thinking I won't be able to run. I slowed the pace way down until it didn't hurt and was able to finish out.
By last night, the calf was very sore and my concern level was way up.
Good news! This morning I can barely feel it. Gotta take it easy for a while...nothing but short simple runs for the next couple of weeks.
