I guess I have been really busy since I started work. I have not posted a blog since I started my job. I have been dealing with a lot. I have learned that I have a herniated (sp?) disk and a bulging disk. If that is not enough I also found out that I have neuropathy. It began withtingleness in my hands and feet. Now my hands and feet are so numb that my balance is off and refuse to drive too far from my house.
So I refuse to let my illness to stop me from reaching my weight loss goals. Although I can not do spin or bootcamp (or go to work), I am on a quest to find work outs that I can do. Today I went swimming and did aquatics. My balance really stunk and I never realized how much the water can push me. I swam extremly slow too. I was hard. Hard to do only half of the class. Even harder because I can still see how easy aquatics and swimming use to be. Tears streamed down my face because every move was so difficult. But guess what. I did it. How many people do you know that can barely walk but will still try to move in the water.
I have found some support groups on SP and FB. Its good to see I am not the only one suffering. My new quest is to learn how to move in my body. I want to try yoga. I haven't done it in years. I think it will do my body good. I'll keep you posted.
