Day 11 of 30

Day 11 is over and I finally got to come here and blog. I lost 2lb overnight emoticon emoticon I drank a whole lot of water yesterday, so that's likely what helped. My energy level is up and so is my mood!!!! Before you know it, I might start enjoying life emoticon
While all this self improvement is going on, I'm trying to improve my family too. I'm making sure my dd eats more raw fruits and veggies and my dh is talking about juicing for breakfast. I hope he does it.
I've reached the stage where I wish I could convert people to juicing. My immediate family could definitely benefit from it. But I doubt I'll convert anyone. LOL Before I started to juice, I was asking relatives if they have a juicer. My SIL said "Gross". Which I found funny, because she didn't know what I was about to do. And when I think of juicer, I think of fruit juices, not veggies. Yet she shot this down as fast as she could, which is really sad. She's the person in my life who would benefit from it even more than me. Oh well, maybe she'll come around, if I'm really good spokesperson for juice fasting. emoticon
So JUICE ON guys and stay strong.

In the process of fasting, not only is your body getting in line, but your mind is as well. You are probably thinking clearer than you have in years, and you mention your mood is up. That's just the by product of giving your body what it really wants........ good nutrition.

You feel so good when you actually go through this process that you just wanna tell people..... I know how you feel.

So tell them. Of course the ones who need it most will be the most reluctant. That's because with their bodies out of whack so goes thier mind. They know they should eat better, but always resort to the...."Well if that's what it's gonna take to get healthy of lose weight, I'll just be sick and fat."

So be it. You just keep doing what you're doing.

    Great job.

I just wanted to say you are doing so good! I just bought a juicer last week and while looking around for ideas on what to juice, I ran across the Joe Cross documentary. I'm living in Korea for a while and can't find Kale, but I've substituted spinach for now.

I'm not fasting, not really. I'm still having my one cup of coffee in the mornings, but having a juice for breakfast and lunch. I've been having really bad tummy troubles and hope I can help heal myself instead of living on meds.

Good luck to you! I enjoy your posts! emoticon
