Yes, children pick up all the words they shouldn't say and it is hard to get them to stop. It is shocking to hear but if you just ignore it or tell him a different word to say, he might stop saying the bad word.

Good you went to the dentist and everything is all right. I sewed a little pouch out of vinyl for some sort of electronic device for a guy. He came to get it yesterday and he said it was too short so I made a longer one this morning so he will come back this afternoon. I should have measured the old case instead of trying to remember. I am not charging him for it because it only takes a few minutes to make them. It was another learning experience for me. I'm keeping the short one to put my digital camera in.

The sun is out this morning so maybe the storms are moving on.

LOL. He will hear it in school anyway. There is always one boy in preschool or kindergarten who enlightens the innocent ones. LOL.

Glad the dentist went ok. It makes me nervous but I go too in spite of it.

Kids say the most unexpected things at times and when they are real little like that sometimes after correcting it's best to ignore or they will repeat it......they are like little parrots. Can't really blame Elias (as I am sure you don't), he is just repeating what he has heard.

Sleep well and I know tomorrow will be better yet as there won't be a dentist appointment! :)

Hugs dear spark friend!

So glad that you made your dentist and everything went okay. I don't like hearing the tools for the cleaning but I love how my teeth feel after my cleanings. You should be feeling like a new woman with your hair done and clean teeth, etc. ENJOY!!!
Children will repeat everything they hear...maybe not right away but eventually it will come out. Hope they didn't make a big deal out of it and he will let it go.
Praying that you will get a good night of restful sleep.
Blessings and hugs,
Helen

    Hi,

Glad the dentist went well and don't worry about the new word. It will go away if you don't make a big deal about it. Kids hear lots of stuff and most people around kids know that.

Andrea
