So I'm up to around 10-13 miles per week. This week has been crazy busy so I've only had time for 2 workouts so far this week. I will walk again tomorrow and hopefully be able to say that I walked 10 miles this week or at least 8 miles.
Thursday, I didn't eat enough, so I'm sure that this is not helping my progress.
One morning I saw the needle on the magic scale go down to 180! And then a day or so later it was back up to 183. So I've worked REALLY HARD this past month of May, and have only 5 pounds to show for it.
I went to see my doctor last week about my psych meds, and told her that I was still struggling with my weight and that I wanted to switch over to Wellbutrin. She said that she would start to try me on Wellbutrin at a low dose, and that for now I will continue to take Zoloft. Hopefully over time I can taper off of Zoloft and onto Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin is supposed to help with weight loss and is supposedly one of the few meds that don't have weight gain as a side effect. Of course, I'm still a bit cynical about this, because according to my doctor and her PDR weight gain is supposedly an "uncommon side effect" for Zoloft. Everything that I and my friends on Zoloft that post online go through with their weight completely contradicts this assertion.
So I guess we'll see... next week I am starting on the Wellbutrin and I'll let you all know if it helps.
