I'll write a blog about it, probably tomorrow, but I thought I'd let people know that I did not have a good race. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. While I complain about rain more often, wind is my greatest enemy. And today, the wind found 2 ways to hurt me. First, there was a tailwind for the first 5 miles which encouraged me to run at a too fast pace. Then there was a constant 30 mile an hour headwind for about 14 miles.


I seriously considered dropping out during the race but then figured that would be more disappointing than a slow finish time so I plugged on to an unofficial finish time of 4:12:01.
