This week has had it's ups and downs. I worked out every day which feels good because I have lost weight and my pants are fitting just a little bit looser. I have been cleaning and organizing this week because I know once I get working again I will be happy I did. I already have an organizational system in place so that made it much easier than it would have been otherwise.
I am catching up on correspondence and phone calls neglected because I was working so hard in school. I finished reading my first book of choice since I finished school and started my next book (this one is about finding the job that fits).
I have been fixing things around the house that I have not had time to fix (that honey-do list). I have also been preparing for us to have another garage sale.
I have exercised every day and my diet has been pretty good as well.
It's nice to finally have the time to do all this. It seemed like all I ever did was study, research and write papers. Grad school was a non-stop job and sucked up my every moment like the eye of a tornado. I am so glad to be graduating!
This week my doctor changed one of my meds and going off one to substitute it for another was horrible. I really crashed. One day it was really bad and my partner said "if you workout you will feel better." It did help a lot but I also have to give my wonderful family credit for giving me personal time to exercise, take a nice hot shower, make a protein shake, and read quietly until dinner. I love them so much and they are awesome!
Finally I read a spark article today which was kind of cool because I love journals. Have a great weekend everyone!
