Looking to the future.

Saturday, June 09, 2012

Well I've been doing a lot of soul searching lately, and I think I've finally decided what I want to be "when I grow up".

This is something that will take a while, and will not happen until I reach my goal weight (between 120-135)... but I've decided that I want to help people. I want to either get into something involving fitness, or nutrition. Maybe a personal trainer or a nutritional coach. I think after all the struggles I've had involving my weight and how many years I've fought with it, it's been quite a learning experience. And I would LOVE to be able to pass that on to others who are struggling. Once I reach my goal weight, I will have lost between 100-110 pounds. I want to motivate and inspire people. I want people to look at me and think "wow, if she did it then I know I can!". I want to make a difference. I want to help people transom their minds, bodies and souls. I want to help them change their lives, help them to see things in a positive light. Its scary but exciting all at the same time, and I really sincerely hope that I can achieve all that I strive to.

I am destined for greatness, and greatness is what I will achieve.

I think that's a great goal! I too have always thought about doing something in nutrition.

That's a great idea! I want to get into psychology since I'm mentally ill and know where the patients are coming from. It's a great idea to be able to relate to the people you are trying to help. It helps cut through the excuses.

I love your last statement. I think I'll put it on my bathroom mirror!
I think your goal is very awesome and you'd be great in that role with your experience. A lot of the "fitness" people I've worked with have always been fit and never had to struggle with it.
