So Calories under control
Sodium finally down to right level
Calcium and Magnesium in good shape
Carbs are under control
Fiber is good too
But for the life of me I can't get the protein or potassium under control. I am not a vegetarian and I eat a banana every day. I start every day with an egg white omelet with cheese and I am still not hitting these goals. I have been reading the advice every day and trying to do what it says but nuts take up a lot of fat for little protein. Its a little frustrating.
On the bright side I added strength training into my work outs. Started with lower body and was still able to do my mile today and walk downtown which is about 3/4 of a mile. So all in all a good day. Right now I just feel like I want to add more and more. I am afraid I am going to either burn myself out or hurt myself or start holding back too much and quit. This is not my first time down this path and I am really afraid of it not working this time either. Its like I don't hurt enough for this too be working so maybe I am not doing enough but I am really trying to just stick to what the schedule says and taking it one day at a time.
